Details of the interrogation are unknown, as is how Boskovski defended himself from charges that in 2002, in his capacity as Macedonia's interior minister, he ordered the murder of seven economic immigrants from Pakistan and India. They were depicted to the Macedonian public as terrorists preparing attacks on embassies in Skopje, which Boskovski claimed in public statements as well.
Boskovski, who also has Croatian citizenship, was arrested in Bale in Istria County on Tuesday after the Macedonian judiciary let Croatia prosecute him. He is in the custody of the Pula County Court.
