This is the majority of the Croatian contingent who should have arrived in Kabul back on August 26, but their departure was postponed ue to the security check of an airplane which was scheduled to take off from Russia which closed its airspace last week because of plane crashes. Another aircraft was found and Croatian military police arrived in Kabul safely.
The commander of 17 military police arrived in Kabul on August 11.
A total of 50 members of the 3rd Military Police Platoon from the Croatian contingent are on a plane to Croatia. Their plane is scheduled to land in Zagreb this afternoon, the ministry said.
