The newly-inaugurated 84-kilometre section includes a trunkline from Josipdol to Gospic and gas routes to Gospic and Otocac with gas measurement stations.
After the national commission for providing gas supplies throughout Croatia held its session in Gospic, PM Kosor, who is also the commission's chairwoman said that the construction and modernisation of the gas transmission system was going on as planned.
She said that until the end of 2010, HRK 1.4 billion had been invested into a project of ensuring Croatia's energy independence.
