The first of the two insider witnesses testified in closed session.
According to Belgrade radio B92, the witness cited the names of the indictees, spoke in detail of events that had taken place in front of the Vukovar military barracks and at Ovcara and of the execution of at least 192 Croatians captured by Serb paramilitary troops, supported by the then Yugoslav People's Army (JNA).
The witness repeated almost everything he had told investigators during the pre-trial investigation, and said he was sincerely shaken and saddened by all that had happened at Ovcara.
The trial was adjourned after the witness, whom the Croatian television named as Spasoje Petkovic, said he was feeling bad and asked to resume the testimony on Wednesday.
The other witness is Boza Latinovic.
Besides Latinovic and Petkovic, the prosecution will call four witness from Croatia to testify in the continuation of the trial.
