Saturday, the local electronic media reported, although there was no official confirmation of Milenkovic's apprehension.
BELGRADE, May 15 (Hina) - Dejan Milenkovic aka Bagzi, a member of the
so-called Zemun Gang, accused of involvement in the 12 March 2003
assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, was arrested
in Belgrade on Saturday, the local electronic media reported, although
there was no official confirmation of Milenkovic's apprehension.#L#
Milenkovic was also suspected of an attempt of Djindjic's life on 21
February last year when, driving a truck, he tried to hit a car in
which Djindjic was. After that incident, Milenkovic was detained in
custody for a few days and then set free.
Neither officials of the Serbian Interior Ministry nor lawyers of
Milenkovic, who is the seventh indictee in the Djindjic's
assassination trial, confirmed his arrest on Saturday afternoon.
