VUKOVAR, May 12 (Hina) - The president of the Independent Democratic
Serb Party (SDSS) and parliamentary deputy, Milorad Pupovac, on
Wednesday expressed satisfaction with Prime Minister Ivo Sanader's
visit to Serb returnees in the Zadar hinterland yesterday, the SDSS
said in a statement.#L#
The visit encourages the return of people, reconstruction processes
and the restitution of property, particularly because the PM visited
the Zadar hinterland and the country in which political circumstances
are not favourable for the return of people or for the improvement of
inter-ethnic relations, Pupovac said.
The SDSS president is also satisfied with the fact that Sanader
reiterated the government's standpoint that the restitution of the
Serb property would be conducted in line with the deadlines from the
agreement with the SDSS.
PM Sanader on Tuesday visited the Zadar hinterland together with the
chairman of the Organisation for the Security and Cooperation in
Europe (OSCE) and Bulgarian Foreign Minister, Solomon Passy, Croatian
Foreign Minister Miomir Zuzul and parliamentary deputy of the Serb
national minority, Milorad Pupovac.
