ZAGREB, April 27 (Hina) - Croatian Minister for Family and War Veterans Affairs and Inter-Generation Solidarity Jadranka Kosor on Tuesday met the head of the regional office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Croatia (UNHCR),
Ekkehard Strauss, and the coordinator of the Human Rights Centre, Tin Gazivoda, the government's public relations office said in a statement.

Affairs and Inter-Generation Solidarity Jadranka Kosor on Tuesday met
the head of the regional office of the UN High Commissioner for
Refugees in Croatia (UNHCR), Ekkehard Strauss, and the coordinator of
the Human Rights Centre, Tin Gazivoda, the government's public
relations office said in a statement.#L#
The talks focused on the human rights situation in Croatia and the
activities of the UNHCR regional office and the Human Rights Centre,
the statement said.
Kosor thanked the UNHCR for its assistance and support, stressing that
Croatia had achieved great progress in the area of human rights. She
added that the government was seriously approaching the human rights
issue.
The head of the UNHCR regional office stressed the importance of the
Human Rights Centre and said it could be a good example to the
countries in the entire region.
