ZAGREB, April 19 (Hina) - The Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) has

Documentation Centre be urgently established in order to collect and
keep all documents and testimonies about the 1991-1995 war of
independence in one place and to portray the war in a systematic and
documented fashion.#L#
The draft bill says it is sad that by doing nothing to present the
truth about the Homeland War, Croatia allowed the Belgrade-based
organisation Veritas and the Hague war crimes tribunal to
"systematically falsify the history of the Homeland War".
The HSP said that the Memorial and Documentation Centre should be
established as a state institution that would be financed partly from
the national budget and partly from the income generated through its
own activities.
The party estimated that about five million kuna would have to be
secured annually for the work of this institution.
