"We have a stable government and a stable majority in the parliament,
our moves, both in in foreign and home affairs, are praised by the
European Union," Seks said on Friday afternoon in Split where the HDZ
county branch held an election convention.
He added that "progress has already been evident in efforts to solve
problems inherited from the last incompetent government", but not
everything could be solved overnight.
Commenting on expectations of an opinion of the European Commission on
Croatia's EU membership application, Seks said he did not know what
could happen to prevent Croatia from receiving on 20 April the green
light. In this context he expressed his confidence that in June
Croatia would be added to a group of candidates for EU membership.
"We shall meet all criteria set on this path," the HDZ official said.
