The reasons for organising this event are the forthcoming admission of
Slovenia and Hungary to the European Union, and an initiative for
launching a joint "Television Without Borders" project by several
television stations from Maribor, the Austrian city of Graz, the
Hungarian city of Szombately, and Varazdin, Croatia.
Slovene Prime Minister is expected to open the event. Croatia's
ministers of European Integration and Culture, Kolinda Grabar
Kitarovic and Bozo Biskupic respectively, have been invited to
Ljubljana.
