WICKLOW/ZAGREB, April 7 (Hina) - Croatian European Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic is taking part in a conference on communications in Europe which is being held in Ireland's Wicklow on April 6-8, European Integration

Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic is taking part in a conference on
communications in Europe which is being held in Ireland's Wicklow on
April 6-8, European Integration Ministry said in a statement.#L#
Grabar Kitarovic is attending the conference at the invitation of her
Irish counterpart Dick Roche.
The conference pooled European integration ministers from EU member
states, countries that are to join the union on May 1, candidate
countries and countries included in the Stabilisation and Association
process.
The topic of the conference is achieving better communications between
citizens and EU institutions, namely finding ways for the public to
join the process of European integration.
Opening the conference Roche said the EU must develop a more inivating
approach to communicating with citizens.
The conference has also been attended by the President of te European
Parliament, Pat Cox.
On the margins of the conference, Grabar Kitarovic held talks with a
number of ministers, including the host of the conferece Roche and
European Parliament president Cox.
