ZAGREB, April 6 (Hina) - Britain on Tuesday welcomed the voluntary surrender of six Bosnian Croat wartime leaders to the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague and the role the Croatian
government played in making it possible.

"The United Kingdom welcomes the surrender to the ICTY of Jadranko
Prlic, Bruno Stojic, Slobodan Praljak, Milivoj Petkovic, Valentin
Coric and Berislav Pusic, and the role played by the Croatian
government in facilitating this outcome," the British Embassy in
Zagreb said in a statement.
"We hope that (indicted Croatian general) Ante Gotovina will follow
their example and we look to the Croatian government to do everything
in its power to ensure that he appears before the Hague tribunal as
soon as possible," the statement said.
