ZAGREB, March 31 (Hina) - Croatian Vice-Premier Jadranka Kosor on Wednesday took over, on behalf of the government, the chairmanship of the Economic and Social Council (GSV) for a term of one year.

Wednesday took over, on behalf of the government, the chairmanship of
the Economic and Social Council (GSV) for a term of one year.#L#
Vice-chairpersons of this tripartite body, comprising representatives
of the government, employers and trade unions, will be the president
of the Association of Workers' Trade Unions of Croatia (URSH), Boris
Kunst, and Croatian Employers' Association president Bernard Jakelic,
the head of the Government's Office for Social Partnership, Vitomir
Begovic, told reporters after today's session of the GSV.
The social partners signed a document on the admission of the UNI-CRO
Services Union into the GSV as the sixth trade union federation.
The GSV also adopted a programme of work for 2004.
