Ivo Sanader received Estonian Foreign Minister Kristiina Ojuland on
Wednesday, statements from the Office of the President and the
Government's Public Relations Office said.#L#
Mesic and Ojuland pointed out that there were no outstanding issues
between Croatia and Estonia, and that the two countries should step up
their bilateral relations, particularly in the domain of the economy.
Ojuland praised the progress Croatia had made in implementing reforms
and pledged her country's support to Croatia's efforts to join the
European Union and NATO, stressing that this was also important for
the stability of the region.
At the end of the meeting Mesic extended an invitation to Estonian
President Arnold Rueuetel to visit Croatia.
During separate talks with Sanader, Ojuland said that the door to the
European Union was wide open to Croatia and that Estonia fully
supported Croatia's entry into the bloc.
