As an active member of the anti-terrorist coalition, Croatia has taken
a series of steps to strengthen its ability to fight terrorism at
national, regional and global levels. One of the positive examples of
this is its participation in the international peacekeeping mission in
Afghanistan, the statement said.
Croatia will continue actively contributing to the joint efforts of
the international community in combating terrorism and is also ready
to contribute to all activities of the European Union to that effect,
the statement said.
EU leaders ended a two-day summit in Brussels on Friday at which they
adopted a series of measures to fight terrorism and appointed Gijs de
Vries of the Netherlands as Europe's first coordinator for the
struggle against terrorism.
