Speaking at the presentation of the book "Hrvatska vojska u eri
globalizacije politike" (Croatian Army in an Era of Globalised
Politics" in Zagreb on Tuesday evening, Roncevic said there was a need
for a new reorganisation of the ministry and the armed forces.
"The new reorganisation of the Defence Ministry and the Armed Forces
must support clear objectives, such as increasing Croatia's defence
potential and its participation as a full member in meeting the
highest defence needs and tasks of both the European Union and NATO,"
the minister said.
The book by professor Ante Barisic, Brigadier Rodoljub Baric and
General Marijan Marekovic deals with the modern concepts of army in
peace and war, with emphasis on Croatian army operations in the
Homeland War.
