introduce more flights to destinations in Croatia.#L#
This includes four flights to Split and Dubrovnik weekly, and
additional morning flights to Zagreb four times a week, company
officials said in Zagreb on Thursday.
Last summer, Austrian Airlines operated seven flights to Zagreb and
three to Dubrovnik. With its partner Croatia Airlines it operated a
total of 27 flights, while this summer the two companies will operate
38 flights a week, the head of the company's office in Croatia, Markus
Lindbichler, said.
As of March 28, Austrian Airlines will operate 11 flights to Zagreb
and four flights to Dubrovnik per week. After two years, the company
will resume flights to Split. At the beginning of summer, two more
flights will be introduced for Dubrovnik.
Last year, Austrian Airlines earned an income of EUR4.5 million in
Croatia, carrying some 25,500 passengers on the Zagreb-Vienna line and
some 10,000 passengers on the Dubrovnik-Vienna line.
