ZAGREB, March 19 (Hina) - The Croatian Embassy and the U.S. Embassy in downtown Belgrade are closed on Friday, given that the two embassies are in the vicinity of the street which protesters will take.

On Thursday protesters stones the Croatian Embassy after which the
staff of the embassy as well as that of the Croatian Consulate in
Dedinje were evacuated.
At noon all electronic media in Serbia discontinued broadcasting. All
TV stations discontinued broadcasting their programmes for three
minutes while the national television during those three minutes has a
sentence "Stop the Terror against Serbs, Three Minutes of Warning to
the World" on its screen, Radio stations also went off the air.
The Serbian government has called on the electronic media to
discontinue broadcasting for three minutes and on citizens to join in
a protest walk from the government building to the St. Sava Church in
Belgrade. The government also called for a joint prayer for the Serbs
killed in Kosovo.
Citizens and Belgrade's elementary and high school students started
gathering outside the government building early Friday morning.
Some students on Thursday and Friday tried to reach the Albanian
Embassy but were stopped by the police.
