The article said that "the life of the Israeli Foreign Ministry would
be much easier if all visiting foreign ministers spoke like the
Croatian minister."
The reporter presented a brief look back at relations between the two
countries, mentioning "the unsettled accounts that Israel had with
President Franjo Tudjman" and noting that "real relations were
established in 2001 following a visit by Croatian President Stjepan
Mesic, who apologised in the Knesset for all the crimes that had been
committed in Croatia.
The article also featured a brief CV of Zuzul, the current political
situation in Croatia and its main foreign policy goals.
"Croatia is a democratic and independent country founded on the
struggle against fascism. We publicly oppose any form of
totalitarianism as well as all crimes that were committed in the
Second World War and after it against, first and foremost, Jews, then
Serbs, Roma and finally Croats," Zuzul said.
Asked about Croatia's position on the fight against terrorism, Zuzul
said that Croats were also afraid of any form of terrorism.
"We support any solution that will bring peace between Israel and the
Palestinian Authority, and we also understand all the difficulties
being faced by Israel and its people," Zuzul said.
