the last two days.

Police spokesman Derek Chappell said that the police had stepped up
patrols and increased their presence at special buildings and sites in
the city. He added that other steps had also been taken to ensure the
safety of citizens.
Kosovo president Ibrahim Rugova has strongly condemned the explosions
and called on the UN and local police and NATO-led KFOR peacekeepers
to continue the investigation and step up security measures for the
sake of all citizens of Kosovo.
