Rop said that talks on the protection of the Adriatic Sea between
Italy, Slovenia and Croatia, which were being conducted at the level
of secretaries in foreign ministries, were even more important for
Slovenia's relations with Croatia.
The Croatian parliament ratified the agreement on succession to the
former Yugoslav federation on Wednesday evening. The agreement obliges
the Croatian government to resume proceedings before international
institutions to locate US598 million that had disappeared from the
succession package.
