billion kuna.#L#
The minister said the draft budget would remain within the previously
projected figures, namely the revenue is projected at 79.4 billion
kuna and spending at 84.9 billion kuna.
Most amendments, i.e. 113 of them, refer to the field of the Science
and Education Ministry, 60 to the Agriculture Ministry, 55 to the
Finance Ministry and 38 to the Health Ministry.
The government is not going to propose any amendment to the draft
budget, but it will move some amendments to the draft act on the
budget execution.
Thus, the budgetary reserves of 318 million kuna, the paying of Value
Added Tax (VAT) for the purchase of fire-fighting equipment, import of
some goods, and scientific projects will be added as budgetary items.
The government will propose a possibility of postponement in the
collection of taxes and contributions, and installment payment of
these financial obligations in nine months, but this would refer to
obligations from this year and not for arrears from previous years.
The parliament will be notified of the situation in this kind of
payments twice a year when it is informed of the execution of the
state budget.
