During a three-day action, multinational peacekeepers discovered and
confiscated 10 ground-air missiles, 127 anti-tanks rockets, 21,500
20-mm cannon shells, 147 pieces of arms for infantry troops, 290 hand
grenades and 170 rifle grenades. This was found in a log cabin in
woods near the town of Bosanska Krupa.
In a saw mill near the town of Bosanska Dubica, 65 anti-tank rockets,
23,000 pieces of gun ammunition, and other kinds of ammunition and
weaponry were also discovered, said a spokesman for SFOR North-West
Division, Major Ron Carson at a news conference he held on Wednesday
in the city of Banja Luka.
Nobody was nabbed during the operation, and all the arms and
ammunition were seized.
