ZAGREB, Feb 11 (Hina) - The trial of former member of parliament and assistant defence minister Ljubo Cesic Rojs and the director of the Hrvatski dragovoljac soccer team, Stjepan Spajic, accused of causing several million kuna in
damage to the state, should begin at the Zagreb County Court on Thursday, nearly a year after they were indicted.
ZAGREB, Feb 11 (Hina) - The trial of former member of parliament and
assistant defence minister Ljubo Cesic Rojs and the director of the
Hrvatski dragovoljac soccer team, Stjepan Spajic, accused of causing
several million kuna in damage to the state, should begin at the
Zagreb County Court on Thursday, nearly a year after they were
indicted.#L#
Under the indictment, Rojs is charged with abuse of office and powers
and endangering domestic payments and business operations by abusing
powers in business operations, causing damage to the state exceeding
5.5 million kuna (EUR714,300).
Spajic is charged with endangering the security of domestic payments
and business operations by inciting abuse of powers in business
operations.
