of tripartite dialogue.#L#
Comparing the experience of the French Economic and Social Council and
the results of social partnership in France, they said that the
Croatian model was very good, but that the social partners should
change their attitude towards dialogue.
Over the last two years, representatives of the Croatian Economic and
Social Council have visited similar councils in the Republic of
Ireland, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands.
These organisations, which bring together trade unions, employers and
civil associations, try to reconcile the interests of different social
groups and are characterised by the culture of dialogue and work for
the common good, said the head of the Government Office for Social
Partnership, Vitomir Begovic.
State Secretary for the Economy Vladimir Vrankovic said that the
French Council, among other things, also tries to predict future
conflicts and proposes a series of measures to the government so that
conflicts can be promptly resolved.
