"I expect that along with the summons to testify Perisic will also be
given guarantees that he won't be arrested under the indictment for
Croatia," Vujacic told "Glas javnosti" daily of Tuesday. He added that
Perisic did not have any reason for concern that he might turn from a
witness into a suspect.
Perisic on Sunday told Radio B92 that he was ready to testify at the
Milosevic trial because cooperation with the UN war crimes tribunal
was inevitable, but he dismissed unofficial media reports that he
would testify on January 22.
