Professor Ivancevic, born in Banja Luka on 13 February 1931, was a
lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy and the College of Architecture
in Zagreb.
He wrote about 200 scientific papers and on the Croatian medieval and
Renaissance arts and modern architecture and visual communications
His book entitled 'Umjetnicko Blago Hrvatske' ('Riches of Croatia's
Arts' in an unoffiical translation) was printed in several issues and
translated in several languages.
Credit goes to professor Ivancevic for having promed Croatia's
cultural heritage abroad and for having helped to add the Sibenik
Cathedral to the UNESCO list of the worl heritage.
