government worth 36,200 euros.
VOJNIC, Dec 12 (Hina) - Japanese Ambassador Kaname Ikeda on Monday
visited Vojnic to attend the opening of a biology and chemistry cabinet in the
local elementary school which was fully equipped with a donation from the
Japanese government worth 36,200 euros. Ikeda said his country's aid
symbolised the friendship between Croatia and Japan. He voiced hope that apart
from its concrete aspect, such aid also made Croats more interested in
Japan.
The ambassador also visited Gvozd for the handover of a truck and
multipurpose machine worth 67,000 euros.
The Japanese government has donated 1,452,278 euros to Croatia since
1998 through the implementation of 60 projects in 11 counties.
