ZAGREB, Nov 30 (Hina) - Five of the nine parliamentary deputies of theCroatian Peasant Party (HSS) on Wednesday relieved Zlatko Tomcic andLjubica Lalic of their duties as president and vice-president of theHSS Club of
Deputies.
ZAGREB, Nov 30 (Hina) - Five of the nine parliamentary deputies of
the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) on Wednesday relieved Zlatko Tomcic and
Ljubica Lalic of their duties as president and vice-president of the HSS Club
of Deputies. Zeljko Pecek was appointed new president of the HSS
Club while Zeljko Ledinski became his deputy.
Pecek told reporters that Tomcic had initially congratulated him on the
appointment only to change his mind ten minutes later and reject his dismissal
as illegal.
Tomcic said his dismissal was irregular and announced that he would
explain his position on the matter on Thursday or Friday.
