ZAGREB, Nov 29 (Hina) - The parliamentary majority on Tuesday at thegovernment's proposal rejected the first 50 of a total of 304amendments to the draft national budget for 2006 whereby oppositiondeputies requested the reallocation of
6.4 billion kuna.
ZAGREB, Nov 29 (Hina) - The parliamentary majority on Tuesday at
the government's proposal rejected the first 50 of a total of 304 amendments to
the draft national budget for 2006 whereby opposition deputies requested the
reallocation of 6.4 billion kuna. The majority rejected amendments
regarding funds envisaged for parliament, the government, and the ministries of
finance, interior affairs, war veterans, foreign affairs, and the economy.
Earlier today, parliament decided that by the end of the current
session it would vote on amendments to the law on public assembly, which bans
rallies in front of the government and parliament buildings.
