The Washington declaration was signed by the HDZ BH and seven other parliamentary parties from Bosnia-Herzegovina.
HDZ BH spokesman Miso Relota said the parties participating in the Washington conference today received a letter by US Under-secretary of State Nicholas Burns expressing gratitude for their having signed the declaration and noting that the USA would support a more efficient central government in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Relota said that the HDZ BH today unanimously adopted a report on the Washington talks submitted by party presidency member Barisa Colak and a member of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Ivo Miro Jovic, who took part in the Washington talks.
Relota said that in the upcoming talks on constitutional changes in the country the HDZ would not accept any cosmetic changes to the constitution or the country's two-entity structure.
"We will advocate the adoption of a completely new constitution," he said.
