Affairs from London to speak about the resultsof the ongoing reform of the Croatian judiciary.
ZAGREB, Nov 17 (Hina) - Croatian Justice Minister Vesna Skare
Ozbolt on Thursday wrapped up a two-day visit to London, where she travelled at
the invitation of the Adriatic Institute for Public Policy and the Institute
of Economic Affairs from London to speak about the results of the ongoing
reform of the Croatian judiciary. Skare Ozbolt met Lord Chancellor
Charles Falconer, who offered assistance in the judicial reform.
She said her hosts inquired about legal security in Croatia, the fight
gainst corruption and the country's strategy of EU integration, as well as the
case of runaway general Ante Gotovina, which she said was no longer dominant in
talks with British officials.
The minister said that she also visited the Small Claims Court, adding
that Croatia planned to establish such courts.
