ZAGREB, Nov 15 (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian Railwayscompany (HZ) and the Community of European Railways (CER) met inZagreb on Tuesday to discuss the situation in Croatian Railways andchallenges this transport company was facing in the process ofadjustment of transport standards to those of the EU, HZ said in astatement.
ZAGREB, Nov 15 (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian Railways company (HZ) and the Community of European Railways (CER) met in Zagreb on Tuesday to discuss the situation in Croatian Railways and challenges this transport company was facing in the process of adjustment of transport standards to those of the EU, HZ said in a statement.

HZ officials presented the project of restructuring the company and measures taken to implement it (cooperation with the World Bank and social partners, the imminent entry into force of a law on railways, budgetary funds).

Croatian Railways has been a full member of the CER since late October 2003.
