airport this morning, improved, delPonte's spokeswoman Florence Hartmann told Hina.
MOSTAR, Nov 10 (Hina) - The chief prosecutor of the UN war crimes
tribunal in The Hague, Carla del Ponte, arrived in Sarajevo early on Thursday
afternoon after weather conditions, which prevented her plane from landing at
the Sarajevo airport this morning, improved, del Ponte's spokeswoman Florence
Hartmann told Hina. Hartmann said del Ponte would meet NATO
representatives and local officials to discuss the search for war crimes
indictee Radovan Karadzic.
"Carla del Ponte is worried because there has been no progress in
locating Radovan Karadzic," Hartmann said, adding that del Ponte's meetings in
Sarajevo were working meetings of a technical character. She said that there
would be no statements for the press regarding the meetings.
Del Ponte is scheduled to return to The Hague later this afternoon.
