During today's Question Time deputies asked the PM what could Bosnian Croats expect from Croatia ten years after the Dayton Agreement when the international community was working on constitutional changes. Sanader said the time had come for Bosnia to get emancipated in the political sense and start to be more independent of the international community.
Sanader said he saw Bosnia's future in a united Europe, adding that he expected the country's negotiations on a Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the EU to start in the near future.
PM Sanader reiterated the Government's determination to prevent the sale of Croatian islands as well as river sandbanks.
He said a report on the implementation of the Constitutional Law on the Rights of National Minorities was finalised and would be sent to parliament during the current sitting.
During today's Question Time Justice Minister Vesna Skare Ozbolt announced a possibility of a new legal regulation for slander said in a public debate.
Deputy Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor said that a bilateral agreement on Croatia's care for members of the (Bosnian) Croat Council of Defence should be sent to parliament in the near future. She added parliament would discuss it in detail.
