Sanader told reporters in Zemunik Gornji near the central Adriatic port of Zadar, where he inaugurated the construction of a regional water-supply system for the Zadar hinterland, that he was yet to look into all facts regarding BAT's leaving the Zadar factory.
I need more information to be able to give a comment, Sanader said.
He said that everything is not how it appears at first sight and reiterated that he would be able to say something only after receiving all information about the case.
After reporters asked what kind of a message this was for foreign investors, the PM said that full legal security for all foreign and domestic investors was the best message.
BAT has announced that it will probably withdraw from the Zadar Tobacco Factory in which it has invested some 70 million euros over the past eights years. The company claims the attitude towards foreign investors is hostile and that laws that protect the monopoly of the Croatian tobacco producer.
