The seminar was organised by the Austrian foreign trade office in cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of the Economy with an aim to help business people to find joint solutions in the waste management, environment protection and alternative sources of energy, an official from the Austrian Office in Zagreb, Peter Hasslacher said.
He added that the trade between Croatia and Austria totalled 1.8 billion euros in 2004, with a rise of 45 percent in Croatia's exports to Austria.
During the seminar, Austrians presented solutions from environment protection sector, which Dubrovnik County Prefect Ivo Miletic described as very important for the county where, he said, one of chief branches of the economy is tourism.
