The two sides also agreed that trucks which previously transported TLM products would continue to do so until further notice, the Economy Ministry said in a statement.
The agreement reached today means that Viator&Vektor will not be able to take over the real assets and equipment or provide transport services for the TLM until a final solution is found to this privatisation case which has alarmed road hauliers from Dalmatia.
Road hauliers claim that the sale of the Sibenik company's transport unit to the Slovene company threatens their survival and have therefore organised protests and blocked with their trucks the entrance to the Sibenik factory. Today's agreement confirms a moratorium on both the contract on the sale of the company's real assets and the contract on transport services.
It was agreed that hauliers who previously provided transport services for the Sibenik company will continue to provide such services until further notice so as not to jeopardise the company's functioning, Minister Vukelic said.
He added that a number of meetings would be held in the next few days, including with government officials, with the aim of finding a final solution to the issue of privatisation of the company's transport unit.
The representative of road hauliers with the Croatian Chamber of the Economy, Ivan Knezovic, told Hina that road hauliers would not organise the protests announced for today and that they had removed their trucks from the entrance to the Sibenik company on Sunday.
