Lenovo wishes to continue IBM's success in the Croatian computer market, office director Ranko Potkonjak said at a press conference in Zagreb.
Last year Lenovo took over all IBM's business partners in the personal computers segment in Croatia and has over 300 business partners, Potkonjak said.
Desktop computers account for as much as 82 per cent of Lenovo's production. In the case of IBM, laptops account for 60 per cent and desktops for 40 per cents.
Lenovo was founded in 1984 by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Today it employs 10,000 people and holds 27 per cent of China's personal computers market.
The company opened its office in Zagreb at the beginning of August.
