Gospic, owned by Croatian Serb returnees, has been reconstructed and works are
under way to put into operation a local water supply system. More
than 480 housing units will be connected to the water supply system, Gospic
mayor Milan Kolic said after a meeting with the head of the OSCE office in
Gospic, Stepahnie Grepo, on Friday.
Around 500 people have returned to villages in the Gospic area and the
issue of return should be solved next year, when between 50 and 100 houses will
be rebuilt.
