According to the statement, Bakota held talks with Israeli Assistant Foreign Minister in the department for central Europe and Euro-Asia, Mark Sofer, with whom he discussed bilateral relations, the opening of the Israeli Embassy in Croatia, the situation in both regions and Croatia's path to the EU.
Bakota also met the director of the Human Resource Department, Noah Gal-Gendler, and the director of the Department for Managing Human Resources Abroad, Danny Biran. The talks focused on internal organisation and management. They also agreed cooperation between the diplomatic Academy of the Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry and the Israeli Training Central.
