JERUSALEM, June 28 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader startedthe second day of his official visit to Israel on Tuesday by visitingthe Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial museum. Later in the day, theCroatian delegation will visit
the Avenue of the Righteous Among theNations and the History Museum, where it will lay wreaths at theRemembrance Hall and light an eternal flame.
JERUSALEM, June 28 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader
started the second day of his official visit to Israel on Tuesday by visiting
the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial museum. Later in the day, the Croatian
delegation will visit the Avenue of the Righteous Among the Nations and the
History Museum, where it will lay wreaths at the Remembrance Hall and light an
eternal flame. After visiting the museum's hall of children's
memories, Sanader will sign the book of impressions. The delegation will then
visit the nearby Garden of the Nations, where Sanader will plant a tree as the
first Croatian PM to visit Israel.
The visit will end late in the afternoon with a meeting between Sanader
and Israeli PM Ariel Sharon.
On Monday Sanader met the president of the National Security Council,
Gior Eiland, and Deputy PM Shimon Peres.
