PRISTINA, June 5 (Hina) - Kosovo is still not close to integrating
with the European Union, Kosovo Prime Minister Bajram Kosumi said on Sunday
after returning from Zagreb where he attended a two-day international forum of
the Bertelsmann Foundation called "Southeast Europe on the Path to the European
Union". Kosumi said that without integration of all countries,
Europe would not be whole.
"We must says openly that Kosovo is still not close to the process of
European integration. Some countries made great progress in that direction,
such as Croatia which will join the Union in three years, while progress in
other countries is slower," Kosumi said.
He expressed satisfaction with meetings he held on the margins of the
Zagreb forum with top Croatia and Slovene officials.
