The meeting, initiated by Cukjati, should be viewed as an effort to maintain good and constructive relations between Slovenia and Croatia and a continuation of intensive dialogue reached by the presidents, prime ministers and ministers of the two countries, the Croatian Parliament's Public Relations Office said in a press release on Friday.
Seks and Cukjati will discuss overall bilateral relations and ways of intensifying parliamentary cooperation in order to settle the remaining outstanding issues between the two countries.
Cukjati will inform his host about a conference of heads of parliament from members of the Regional Partnership, which includes Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. The meeting is scheduled to take place in Bled on June 10 and 11, and Seks has been invited to attend as a guest.
