ZAGREB, May 3 (Hina) - From its establishment in 1992 until March thisyear, the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR)approved loans worth 22.34 billion kuna, of which 8.7 billion kuna wasearmarked for loans for
economic activities, the HBOR managing boardchairman Anton Kovacev said in Zagreb on Tuesday.
ZAGREB, May 3 (Hina) - From its establishment in 1992 until March
this year, the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) approved
loans worth 22.34 billion kuna, of which 8.7 billion kuna was earmarked for
loans for economic activities, the HBOR managing board chairman Anton Kovacev
said in Zagreb on Tuesday. Presenting figures at today's session of
the Zagreb branch of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Kovacev said that in the
said period, 7.6 billion kuna were allocated for funding export,
infrastructure projects received 3.1 billion kuna of loans, and small and
medium-sized businesses received 2.39 billion kuna, while formerly war-stricken
areas were granted 502.8 million kuna in loans from HBOR.
According to Kovacev, the HBOR is planning to open its branch offices
in Gospic, Dubrovnik and Rijeka.
