appear.
BELGRADE, April 14 (Hina) - The trial of 13 persons indicted for
the assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic at the Belgrade
Court for Organised Crime was adjourned on Thursday after two defence attorneys
failed to appear. The trial was adjourned until May 16.
Apart from the principal indictee Milorad Ulemek aka Legija, former
commander of the Serbian Interior Ministry's Unit for Special Operations, 12
other persons, former members of the unit and members of the "Zemun mob clan",
were charged with involvement in the assassination. Seven of the accused are
still on the run.
