According to Banelli, he received information about the three drivers from the media and then checked it with Croatian drivers in Iraq.
Jutarnji List daily said today that according to uncorroborated information, three persons with Croatian passports have been detained in Iraq for some time.
Banelli told the newspaper the persons in question were certainly not his drivers. He said that according to his information, they were drivers of Serb nationality probably holding Croatian passports.
According to Banelli, about 30 Croatian truck drivers are currently in Iraq and 200 drive there.
