ZAGREB, April 8 (Hina) - The exhibition of neckties "Challenge of theTie" was opened at the university gallery "Edoardo Villa" in theSouth-African city of Pretoria, Dino Bedrina of the Zagreb-basedorganisation "Academia Cravatica" said on Friday.
ZAGREB, April 8 (Hina) - The exhibition of neckties "Challenge of the Tie" was opened at the university gallery "Edoardo Villa" in the South-African city of Pretoria, Dino Bedrina of the Zagreb-based organisation "Academia Cravatica" said on Friday.

The exhibition features works by some 80 authors. "Croata" trademark ties with motives from the cultural heritage of the South-African Zulu and Ndebele peoples have become the main attraction of the show.

The exhibition was opened on April 6 and will remain open until April 15, after which it will be staged in Johannesburg on April 17.

Academia Cravatica is a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and promote the tie as part of the Croatian and world cultural heritage.
