DubrovnikDUBROVNIK, April 4 (Hina) - An event commemorating the victims of aplane crash which happened nine years ago near Dubrovnik, claiming thelives of US Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown and members of a USbusiness delegation, was held in the Ron Brown Memorial House in thesouthern Adriatic city on Monday.
DUBROVNIK, April 4 (Hina) - An event commemorating the victims of a plane crash which happened nine years ago near Dubrovnik, claiming the lives of US Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown and members of a US business delegation, was held in the Ron Brown Memorial House in the southern Adriatic city on Monday.

The delegation of the US Department of Commerce, which included prominent business people and was led by Ron Brown, was killed when their plane crashed on the Sveti Ivan Hill near Dubrovnik airport on April 3, 1996.

The noble goals of the US mission were recalled at the commemoration by Dubrovnik county and city officials and the attache for commerce at the US Embassy in Zagreb, Tom Kelsey.
