Ministers, Adnan Terzic wrote in hisletter of condolence he sent to the Vatican's Secretary General,Angelo Sodano.
SARAJEVO, April 3 (Hina) - The death of Pope John Paul II is a
great loss for all who respect peace, understanding and tolerance among people
regardless of their faith, race or nation, the chairman of Bosnia-Herzegovina's
Council of Ministers, Adnan Terzic wrote in his letter of condolence he sent
to the Vatican's Secretary General, Angelo Sodano. "The Pope was a
great statesman and will be remembered as an advocate of justice and peace.
With the departure of Pope John Paul II, Bosnia-Herzegovina has lost its great
friend and friend of its peoples," the Bosnian premier said.
Terzic sent messages of condolence to the primate of the Catholic
Church in Bosnia, Cardinal Vinko Bozanic, and the apostolic nuncio to Sarajevo,
Archbishop Santos Abril y Castello.
The Council of Ministers will declare the day of the pope's burial as a
national day of mourning.
